Minh's Portfolio

I'm a student at the Met Centre for Arts and Technology.
This is a collection of things I've done.

Shader Graphs

I quite recently started using Unity's Shader graph, and this is the first shader I made using it. I tried to base the electricity off of the tesla gates from the game SCP: Containment Breach.
There are settings on the shader which control how fast the electricity "flows", how fast the electricity flashes, and how dense the tiling of the electricity is.

My Grade 9 School-Based Project

I decided to make a video game for my school-based project in Grade 9. I went with a top-down 2D shooter, with inspiration from games like PAYDAY 2, where you massacre a bunch of people.

A clip where I troll in my game by doing a tiny bit of cheating.

A last-minute video I took showcasing all of the sliders I added in my UI.

The earliest recorded clip of the AI in my game.

The enemy AI with a considerable upgrade. It uses a raycast to determine if it can "see" the player.

Tech Hub

From February to June 2023, I was enrolled in the program Tech Hub run by New Media Manitoba. In this program, I learned a lot about 3D modelling, such as texturing, retopology, and block outs.
I also had help and advice from my mentor, Marc to complete my grade 9 school-based project.
